WINGRA CANOE & SAILING CENTER
We're not just about rentals, we're also here to get first-timers familiar with equipment, safety, and skills. We want everyone to enjoy the lake; that's why we offer lessons for Sailing, and Windsurfing. Our lessons will help you enjoy the lake, and take advantages of everything it has to offer. All courses are taught by our knowledgeable instructors, so you know you're getting great instruction.
When: Windsurfing lessons will be held every Monday from 12:30pm until 2pm. Sailing Lessons will be held Monday from 3:00pm until 4:30pm.
Cost: Both sailing and windsurfing cost $75.00 which includes all equipment and two sessions of lessons and one free rental.
Sailing and Windsurfing lessons have a maximum capacity of four persons. Lessons will begin June 4th and all lessons are weather/wind dependent.

In the first windsurfing lesson we'll go over theory, safety, and the different parts of the rig. Then we'll get out on the water and put it to use!! In the second lesson we will get right out on to the lake and go over any questions you might have from the last lesson. Then last but not least, we'll go over docking.
That's not all! You get one hour of free windsurfing rental!
Sailing Lessons
If you want to learn how to sail or windsurf you came to the right place!!! The lessons are split up into two 90 minute blocks. In the first sailing lesson we'll go over sailing theory, knots, and the different parts of the boat. Then we'll get out on the water and put it to use!!
In the second lesson we will get right out on to the lake and go over what to do if the boat capsizes and how to right it. After that, we'll have time to answer any questions you might have, then last but not least we'll go over docking.
