A membership to Wingra Boats will provide you, a couple, or your family with unlimited access to all of our boats* for the entire season. With over 100 boats we have something for everyone! Canoes, kayaks, rowboats, paddle boats, rowing shells, windsurfers, paddle boards, inner tubes, and swim rafts… We’ve got it all!

With your membership comes a skilled staff dedicated to ensuring that your time on Lake Wingra is enjoyable. We get the boat ready, help you in and out of the water, and take care of the boat when you arrive back at shore.

*Memberships do not include sailboats or pontoon boats.

Wingra Sailing Club

Due to the increase in aquatic plants and more inexperienced sailors, Wingra Boats has started a sailing club in lieu of rentals. As a Sailing Club Member you will receive complementary instruction on rigging and de-rigging our boats and how to best sail Lake Wingra. For 2012 the sailing club will have two Precision 15’ day sailors; two Butterflies, and a 14’ Catamaran. As a member you will have unlimited access to the boats from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 10 am until 7 pm.

Club members will be responsible for rigging and de-rigging the boats (after initial instruction) and will be able to reserve boats for up to two-hour blocks of time. If you need additional instruction sailing lessons are available. If you have more questions on the sailing club please email us.
